GS-K8P Plastic Core

Goldsun’s GS-K8P enhances our 8-Strand wire rope series with a durable plastic core. Goldsun’s plastic core technology prevents interior wire damage, absorbs dynamic impact forces and increases rope stability.  Other key benefits include the GS-K8P retains internal lubrication as the IWRC stays lubricated throughout service life. It also prevents water and dust ingress and is the most effective anti-birdcaging solution as it prevents strand separation. Advanced compacting technology effectively improves comprehensive rope performance, increasing breaking load and extending service life. The core benefits are an increased metallic cross-sectional area which enables a higher breaking force without diameter increase, along with excellent drum spooling characteristics. With less wear on drums and sheaves a longer rope life reduces replacement frequency.
